I found this 2 tenths of an inch thick chard in clay. It has more weathering than any other glass found in the area.
I am curious as to how old the glass may be and how long it would take for such weathering/pitting to take place in a dry to slighly moist environment. The weathering inside is the same as on the outside and edges. It is razor sharp so I figure that it did not tumble in water. Photoed dry and wet.
Do you bottle experts have any ideas?
Thank you
