i found this 2years ago with the xlt, using the relic mode.
its a commenwealth coin ,from the rein of oliver cromwell. ( 1650 ish ).
the land i found it on is now a shopping mall.
As you know, one of the rarer periods of hammered coin to find. I have only had 2 in over 20 years.
The hole was made in the rein of Charles II after Cromwells death & its means it had been collected back in by the mint & punch a hole in it for re-issue. This means that it was lost post 1660ish. So the hole is more history not the usual idiot who wanted to wear it.
