Weedeater Engine dredge...??

ive got a nearly new 55cc weed-eater engine that needs to be put to use. any one ever threw a baby dredge together? need some ideas and would love some input.

I use that engine to make a blender for my boat.

Those engines probably don't have enough torque to move large amounts of water. Short stroke and little to no weight on the flywheel. The best thing it has going for it, is that it's a high-revving two-stroke. Likely it would just bog down and die once you got a load on it. Maybe, with the right gear reduction...

If you are in gold country, you can make a nice backpack style gold vacuum (for dry stuff) with a five gallon bucket and some hose
