Well it was my first trip out in a month on Sat. Had some luck so I went back on Sunday.
Saturday turned up 1876 seated dime,1880 one shilling and some newer coins.
Sunday started out with 14k ring and 1887 seated dime! along with a few old cabana key tags.
Really hard digging. ALL rocks. ( thats were the good stuff hides) but it gives the old coins the mottled look. ENJOY AND HH.

wowee i need to find myself a beach..Nice coins....do you find a lot of old coins on the beach, and is it a salt water beach? great job...

Yes it is a salt water beach. Lots of old coins when the sand washes out this time of year.Oldest coin 1700's.

Nice coins and ring olas13. That's a lot better than the rusty nails I found down in Narragansett last weekend.

Glenn

Olas13, what part of RI are you in? I'm just over the line in CT.

I'm in south county. Those finds where in Narragansett. In the water, digging in 2" and up diameter ROCKS.Hard digging but worth the effort!

Those are great finds!
I 'd be there every chance I got...
