Weekend CW relic hunt...gettin' the lead out!

Down south in good ole Tenn this weekend. Got out with my dad to hit several different spots and found some relics at all. Dad did well with his new Tesoro Tejon and I continue to be impressed by the depth I am getting from the 13" Ultimate coil on My Teknetics G2. Nice assortment of CW lead including a Gardner, 44 cal Colt pistol bullets, standard minies, round balls and a bunch of different caiber pistol bullets. Brass in the form of a eagle general service button, a couple of button backs, and a tent grommet. A nice bonus was some post CW coinage: 1897 V nickle, 1890 IH and a Merc. Thanks for looking! HH'ing! Bill

Looks great Bill & glad to see your Dad got in on the fun. WTG, Quindy.

Yeah that is what i was thinking what Quindy said. To not only dig fun relics but to be able to hunt with your dad "Priceless". I saw that you were on a hill. That does look like Tennessee.

Hey there, when you are metal detecting, what does the lead 'beep' under? Type of metal?
