Hey All!
I haven't found anything in a while but the last weekend I went on a road trip and I found a couple of interesting coins that I wanted to share.
I believe I found a British shilling from 1758 and a Dutch 1/4 Gulden from 1759. The funny thing was that I found these coins together, so I think someone must have buried them intentionally. Does anybody know if they are very rare or are they quite common coins to find?

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice old silver. You don't see either of those dug very often in the US compared to Spanish silver. What kind of site were you hunting and what else did you find?

congrats on the old silver! :occasion14:

very nice super saves, they both look exceptional condition, congratulations on both

Nice Old Silver coin finds. Congrats and GL

Those coins are a great find.

A shilling like the one you found is an incredibly unusual find for the states, especially since Britain banned any silver currency from entering the colonies during that entire century. Wow!

Congrats on finding those nice old silver coins

Congrats on the finds!

Common - No. Congrats on a couple of excellent silvers.

Incredible finds there! You might not find a two coin spill that is that good for many moons.... I mean I hope you do but that is outstanding! And the condition looks pretty nice too!

Oh yes. I would love to find those! Congratulations!

Great saves. Could be a coin spill too. These types of coins are uncommon on this side of the pond.
