Weekend Finds - CW Finds and Silver Three Cent Piece.

Hello Everyone..

First time out in a long time this weekend. First, on saturaday we hit a spot near Manasses, VA that produced a few good three ringers and 1 eagle button. My favorite find was a well formed fired 3 ringer with a star in the base.

Sunday we hit a couple old housesites that have been pounded hard over the years, the good thing is there are a few housesites close to each other so the finds are all over due to the people walking back and forth between the houses. Managed to get a couple of flat buttons, including a coollittle one with a wavy line design on it and.. with my 7 year old's help.. I got the silver three center.. I was working the DFX and he was digging.. so it is "our" find.. pretty much the first thing he has dug! He now wants a machine of his own!!

Thanks! This is a the best fired Washington Arsenal I have dug.. I have at least a hundred drops I have dug over the years.. but I have gotten to the point where I would rather dig a couple fired bullets from a battle then drops from a camp. Now, I need to find a nice fired "US" base three ringer!!! ;-)
