After slumping the last couple weeks I finally had some good luck with both my hunts this weekend.

First hunt on Saturday was a club hunt, an old farm. Club members did pretty good there some of their finds included a capped bust dime, large cent, a KG farthing, Indians, and other relics. For me, I ended up with a quite a variety, a silver Mercury dime, King George II half penny I think it reads 1730, a cool small cufflink, Indian-head emblem not sure where it's from, a toy wheel, and my first Crotal Bell a large one.

Sunday hunt, I received permission from a family down the block who believes their house is from 1900. Nice hunt found lots of wheat pennies, standing liberty silver quarter, 1953S Washington silver quarter, and for me the highlight was two Indian-head pennies, one is definitely 1891 and I'm not sure the other date is until I can get some of the dirt off. Funny the one that I can't read the date the back is perfect and green. Prior to today I've only found one Indian-head penny so I'm pretty stoked.

Those are some cool finds !

Sweet finds. I like the cufflink. Did you stay in that area a while trying to locate the other one?

Yes I hunted the area where I found the cufflink for quite some time it was near the main house, and the ground was loaded with iron. Never found its mate.

Now that's the stuff right there!, great finds!!

Wow, a couple killer hunts!!

I'd settle for a couple hunts with the variety of finds you found, a Great mix of Awesome finds.

Congrats on those elusive IH's, I'm having a great year with them so far. My favorite find you got would have to be the silver first then the Crotal bell. Love the Crotal bells.

Hope you hit that yard again and find even more...

You had one heck of a hunt!! Colonial copper, Indians, Silvers, and relics, the ultimate metal detecting type set:laughing7:. I would go back there next chance I had and get the rest of the treasure.

Happy Hunting, Coinman123

Relics and coinage makes for a great day out, congrats on the finds.

Just posting update photos.

Soaked the two Indian Head pennies in distilled water and cleaned off dirt with a tooth pick and my fingernail with great results. The 1899 had so much dirt on it I couldn't even read the date yesterday. It has so much detail. The 1891 is also very nice.
