Weekend finds Merc and Barber 2 firsts for me

Went out last weekend with Camb1 and Tbucket. Found a 1941 merc and a 1905 barber dime. Two firsts for me, woohoo. Really felt good to find some silver. Also added the 1919 wheat penny. Both dimes appear to be in very good shape. Thanks for looking.

Your 1905-o Barber dime is a rare variety, the "micro-O" with microscopic mint mark. In undamaged AU-55 condition, it would be worth close to $400. However, yours has the appearance of a harshly cleaned coin from having been in the ground and subsequently being wiped off. I bet you could still get $100 for it. Congratulations on a great dig.

Thanks for the comments. They were only 3 to 4 inches deep.

Bryce, thanks for the help. I stuck with conduct and am becoming a little more familiar with it, these coin were not so deep so they hit pretty hard.

Thanks Rhedden, I saw that 1905 has the possibility of the macro o but I could find an example to compare with.

We got whipped this time. Me and t-bucket did not even get a good signal. I told you once you got out with a Explorer SE your DFX would collect dust. I believe we have created a monster now. I want a rematch this weekend. Ha Ha
