Got these on a visit to ARC yesterday. One had a glass chimney and it was two dollars more. When I went to pay for it, I made a comment saying you really think that glass on it makes it worth two bucks more. The lady smiled and said, I don't, and just scanned the $2.99 one twice. I had them round up the amount of $7.00 for the pair to help people in need, as they always ask. Could be 50 bucks in scrap or trade at the coin shop with a couple of candles to boot.

You seem to really have a pretty good stream of silver articles still flowing through the thrift stores.
Up here it hasn't been that way for a decade it seems, the stores pick over the goods with a fine tooth comb.
Real nit pickers they are for sure.

I just scraped these for a 50 dollar bill today and went back and bought a used Giant Aluminum frame XTC se mountain bike with the $50. and a additional $20. So this bike cost $27.

This store opened maybe 5 years ago now and has been rather unbelievable with the treasures it has produced. It's mad house of activity in all the merchandise it turns around.
