Any idea what these are? It was in a bag with all sorts of coins and tokens from metal detecting finds. This was a odd piece in the bunch.

Looks like part of a steel rivet.

is it brass?? reminds me of a valve seat-- I think I have some of these in my stash of whatzitz--

Agree. Rivet head off playground equipment. Probably found in the wood chips.

Ahh yep I think your right rivet head good call I think we can prolly mark this solved

The more I look @ this, the more it makes sense being a rivet! I was thinking maybe back too some sort of modern two piece button but I think the others on here nailed the ID! Good job guys.
