Weird button ?

Hello fellow diggers, I found my first 2 buttons today and got no idea from what they could be..

1 button.. It looks pretty old bit the weird part is that it is very light maybe aluminium ?

The second but looks like a police button and has 'auctoritatis' written on it it looks pretty modern.

Any from what they could be ?

Im not much help but one looks like a couple crowns over shields,maybe early british button?...believe second one says AUCTORITATIS,which online says is Latin for Authority

Indeed, but the weird part its aluminium.. Since when did people make small stuf like that with aluminium any idea ?

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that both are modern civilian fashion buttons.

Haha no problem, its a Dutch flag. Netherlands
