Weird embossing Shiloh's Cure

Found this nice old quack med bottle the other day.....Shiloh's Cure...the "CURE" is embossed different than normal....almost stippled in a diamond design or something like that......not sure if this is a different variant of this bottle or just an error? It is embossed on the base "Est 1872" GEDC1375.webp

My theory would be that after 1906, Pure Food & Drug Act, they couldn't say cure anymore and tried to get rid of it in the mold. That's what it looks like to me from the picture. Is the way it's embossed a design or does it look faint or faded?

It's really hard to see......it actually looks like a design...not just faded...like made up of diamond shapes. I've never seen anything like it.

BHOC is correct, the embossing was 'pinged out' with a flat chisel to remove cure instead of them paying to have a new mold cut due to the Food & Drug Act....

ALL OF THE SHILOH'S I OWN HAVE REALLY BOLD EMBOSSING ACTUALLY. I THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE BOTTLE. I'VE SEEN 2 OF THE SAME BOTTLES, ONE HAS LIGHT, WHILE THE OTHER HAS BOLD EMBOSSING. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

OKAY BUT EVERY ONE I EVER DUG HAD WEAK AND POOR EMBOSSING, AS WELL AS POORLY FINISHED LIPS, BUT THESE WERE FROM 1870/80 DUMPS, BIMAL. MKAY?
