Mean a friend of mine went over the levee near the Mississippi where they had the old levy in the 1700s So we were there for about five minutes and the levy police showed up And said it was private property so we moved on to Audubon Park in New Orleans I found a buffalo nickel right off the bat and every time that happens to me it always seems like I don’t find anything else which I did four wheats. So my friend left and I continue to Metal Detect about four hours when I was leaving it was traffic so I went and metal detector at the Fort which I found the war nickel and the regular nickel. It’s such a commitment to train your brain to keep going on these mid tones it’ll drive you crazy but I got a trifecta lol ugggh So this is my eight hours of digging today. Nobody said life was easy. Just try to become one with the pull tab and the bottle caps. Man people in New Orleans drink some beer lol

It's sort of comforting seeing the copies amount of trash juxtaposed with your trifecta...we are not alone...you definitely became one with the pull tab...ummm.... :). Was there a date with the buffalo? How about the wheats?

Very Nice
Congratulations on your recoveries

Nice Truth, I like finding buffalo nickels. I also noticed you have a 1997 rabies tag in your trash finds. I see people collect & sell them on eBay .

Well done !

Lots of work for the 3 nickels, at least two were good ones.
Nice to see you out and digging, even though it's a hard one "to become one with the pull tab and the bottle caps."

Used to do a large park in Toronto-dig all the high tones which included the wine screw caps-I just kept repeating to myself "hobo tokens". I should of kept count between them and glue tubes from the sniffers.

Truth do you want to buy another digging tool. I think you wore your other one out LOL U are my hero :) thanks for sharing . Congrats on the coins you EARNED THEM !!1

The date was beautiful on the Buffalo 1934 and all the dates were 1950s on the wheats.

Hey Gare Man it was a rough one yesterday I’ve been having to stay near my house because all my spots are in New Orleans which is about 50 miles away and I got a big V-8 and he just drinks that gas up.

Pep you gotta love them sniffers lmao
Yeah I went to this little park near my house and I’ve cleaned out all the good high tones So it was pull tab and bottle cap Friday. If these gas prices would go back down I can go back to my spots in New Orleans. Let’s go Brandon

Thanks for reminding me that was the say no that was beautiful a little scratch from the iron but Just gorgeous my blood started pumping as I’m ready to pull out my silver quarter so when I saw the dog tag which was almost at the end of my long day I trashed it hard LOL

That was my highlight of the day being able to read a date on a buffalo very rare. I think the New Orleans clay has something to do with it it was stuck in some clay

To all you newbies sometimes you have to put yourself through hell in order to find something Godly
