Well I went out before the rain this a.m. but got skunked out..

..I went to a home site I was wanting to hit but no one was home. I usually try and get permission during the week for a weekend hunt but my wife has been down with her back out.
So I went to Vandercook lake and got 4 wheaties and they were deep. Was hoping for some silver before the rain chased me out but no go. That place is hard to detect but there is still plenty there I believe. I have had good success in the past but its like any place that has been hit hard, ya need time and go slow.
Maybe tomorrow I can find a spot. All I want is one old coin...ahh...who am I kiddin? I want a lot of old coins!! Time for some research.
