Well, I'm gonna hit a spot I have hit before...
This cool old home site gave me my nicest Indian head penny. It was a 1865 in premo shape. That was back in 2002. That was the only old coin I found there. It was hit hard by someone before me, as the home owner told me. Plus others have hit it since I was there.
I went there today to ask permission because I want to try around the barn area and other spots not often detected. The place is just too cool. It looks almost the same today. The horse drinking trough is still there even. The last time I was there (2002) the nice old guy let me go up into the barns cupola (sp?).
One oldie from this place will be just fine. Wish me luck tomorrow. I'll be heading there after my sons soccer game.
