Well, now I'm 2 for 2. . .
. . . for finding ring owners that is.
Last September, I found my first gold class ring (class of 1971) and was able to send it back
to it's owner before Christmas.
About 10-days after I returned it, I found my SECOND class ring (I just had to find another to
replace the first one
) This second ring was class of 1974 and fortunately, had the student's
full name engraved on the inside.
Through the WONDERFUL help of Des Plaines Silver Bob's sister
who's a member of
an ancestry website, I was able to contact the owner of this second ring. After asking her some
questions about the ring itself and how it may have been lost, it was in fact hers.
I guess I'll have to find a another class ring to replace this one now. . . maybe today at the sledding hills

Thanks for looking!
