I made myself a fluid bed that drained into a bucket to collect the sand I randomly pulled off the beach just to test this thing out. About half of it ended up in the drive way!
well that sucked!

Next time... don't do that.

A fluid bed is commonly used by a lot of folks in devices such as a bazooka to try to concentrate gold during
small sluicing operations. Effectiveness is a matter of debate.
Probably should be moved to the prospecting forum.
