Due to the fact that my yard contains more metal than your typical scrape yard, and in spite of its history of major battles being waged…albeit with an ex-girlfriend, I don’t detect it much…Taking a break from some yard work this long weekend I decided to take a few swings, that’s all it usually takes to get a signal…Foolishly following the advice to dig everything…I quickly found the target was not the silver dollar at 6 inches my Ace told me it would be….but once I started digging, I didn’t stop..here’s the result…I was rewarded with the small blue bottle embedded in all the dirt of the item…and yes, you can tell where I recovered the target….The other finds were dug from a bottle dump in the yard…

thanks for looking...

I don't care what anyone says that is a wicked cool find! How neat is it that you dug it up? How the heck did it get burried? Who burried it? And why?

I still think it is cool but what do I know I get excited when I find a zipper pull!!! :)

holy smokes that is a lot of digging! Nice lil display as well! :D

I'll tell ya who buried it....... a TEENAGER lol.....good job on the recovery....now put him back to work

I'll bet that didn't register as a copper penny!

Now you can clean it up, wrap it up, and give it to the wife for Christmas, and tell her that you put a lot of sweat and tears into getting her this gift this year. lol

Way to go.........

Wow, how long did take to dig out?

It was about 8 inches deep.... figure it took about me about 15 minutes before I could tug the thing out...didn't want to scratch it.. ;D

I kept digging 'cause I couldn't figure out what it was at first...

OK now go find the handle. ;D Really nice bottles.

I wanted to bury the one I had to use when I was a kid.

I can just here it now.
Some kid telling his mom that someone stole the mower to get out of mowing.....LOL

Dang, that's a whopper of a dollar signal...You sure are persistent. I also have to say that's the largest find I have ever seen dug up. Way to go by not giving up till you got it out of the ground. Very nice cobalt blue bottle and nice marble.

O-my-gawd, what a find.
You deserve a reward for the bigest dug object.
