Wells Fargo shennigans!!!!

Went to Wells Fargo to turn in $100 in halves.....went through commercial drive through....
They said in order to turn in halves I had to
1. Fill out deposit slip and show cash back of $100
2. Then had to fill out withdrawal slip for $100
3. Whole process took almost 30 minutes

I asked them if this was a new procedure, they said no. I responded with I have account with we
For almost 40 years and that this was new to me!!!!
I joined wr when it was called 1st interstate Bank!!!

Sounds like they are charging you $100 to turn in the halves. Your only recourse is to have them cash a deposit slip for $100

I just walk in and give them a box and they put it on my account takes 3 minutes

Wells Fargo F***** Sucks, I hate them
Don't get me wrong though, I can be in and out with a 6k dump in 5 minutes,
Its all about routine, as long as the person you're working with knows what they're doing, its fine, but if you get a newbie, you're screwed, i'll wait for certain tellers if a new one is next available.
