A few pics from gravestones that stood out to me....The WVA marker stands for a West Virginia soldier who sided with the Union during the Civil War....and settled in Wenham, Massachusetts after the war....Virginia had divided over slavery. I'm sure there is more extensive information about this than my surface knowledge. Wishing I could do a stone rubbing but it's illegal in Massachusetts....
