Ok, so I went back to the house that was built around 1900 where I found 1893 IHP and 1907 Barber quarter. I started around perimeter then grid out the rest. Only 1 silver and that is the ring with the turquois stone. Other ring is definately old and think its gold plated???. Wheats up the wazoo ranging in dates from 1918 to 50's. A few other neat finds as well.

Great score on the wheats and rings! Is that part of a black powder rifle or flintlock? :occasion14:

Don't think it is anywhere close to being that old. Looks more like a handgun thumbcock from the mid century-but that is a guess at best. I only posted it because it says Pat Applied for and being a common item back then (gun) it might be older since the Patent Applied for is on it ? Any gun enthusiast can chime in here as I have no clue to its age or what type of firearm for that matter.

Way cool M! If rings were $100 bills you'd be a rich man! Love finding rings

One of the objects (oval) in the last pic looks like a picture cameo pendant thingy????

Nice job with the wheats

Big congrats on all them goodies  I'd be paying that spot another visit or few ;D

I was thinking the very same thing. It is copper or brass and the pins fold out separating the two pieces to insert a photo or something similar. Never really seen anything like it made from copper before. :icon_scratch:

Anyone know about the item in the last photo. I think it says Scholls Spring Support. Not sure about the first word as all I can make out is " CHOLLS". Is this an early shoe insert for support or comfort. If so, what does it date to? Any ideas? Thanks guys, this site really could be gone over again, but I think I've spent nearly 10 hours in the past few days there and need a change of scenery. I'm sure I can pick out a few more gems upon my return.
