Went back to where I found NJ state copper. Found 1861 British half penny

Mosquitoes were still bad. And lots of trash. Managed to get this 1861 British half penny and some other trinkets. Any idea what these lead rolled up rod things are? And I thing that’s the end to a pewter spoon. I added a picture of the state copper just because lol

Very nice, I see your still enjoying your NJ copper, I find allot of rolled up lead. I figured (guess) that it had many uses, plumbing?, musket balls, sheeting on ships. For me, allot of my colonial sites give up allot of string lead, rolled lead and such. That's a nice half penny, congrats again! How many ticks and chiggers did you get? Watch out for those deer hunters!

I actually wore a deer costume out there. Lol. Ticks non existent. Just mosquitoes. It is kind of wet area. No chiggers either wasn’t too bad growth wise once we got in. Where are you at in NJ treblehunter?
