That has to be the most translucent material I've ever seen. In fact, some would say invisible! That must be the new Edwards Plateau that I've heard about, called chameleon variety. It has the unique ability to disappear against any surface, including monitor backgrounds.

Guess that is your way of saying you are not able to see the video. Anyone else have problems?

Wow! What a find. Video is fine for me. What do these pay sites charge?

AHA! The culprit for eating videos was Firefox. I opened the post with Internet Exploder and it worked just fine. Nice Castroville.

Depends on if you want to dig or sift the dirt he puts on the tables for you. This one came out of the dirt he was moving to the tables and just fell out and was spotted.. Wish I would have spotted it!

Here's the link to Randy's Dig site if anyone is interested. I will be going back in Nov. After it cools down a bit. ::)

What a sweet Castro... Thanks for showing us.

Molly.

I can't see the video either, but that's probably because I'm at work and they block a lot of things like that. I have seen some nice pieces from Randys Dig site though on another web site I visit called AustinDiggers.

Here is a link to that site. It's worth checking out.

Great rock.
Can I have it?
You can make a video sending it to me. LOL

Thousands of years of camp on top of camp on top of camp.....

Thanks! It was really nice watching that!

Yeah, my wife was pretty excited to see that. You can hear it in her voice...

Yep, thats a nice point. I've contemplated pay dig sites...but I heard a couple of horror stories about them as well. One guy found a nine inch blade, and the proprietors of the place basicly robbed him of it....another organization is known to overcharge and give the prime spots in their "drawings" to whoever has the most money....I suppose if the rates are reasonable and you have a good chance of finding something nice....

I can tell you if it were my site and I was tired of diging, had a hugh collection and ready to make some $ letting people dig..
Damn right I would charge a little for it.. It's only worth what people are willing to pay. I didn't find the "day maker" but we had fun doing it.. Going back in Nov. I hope...

Thanks for all your responses. Hope you enjoyed it.

Nice find. Those big sifters they use out that way are nice, love to have something like that.

I have heard of some of these dig sites being a scam. Alot of them are "seading" fake artifacts, just a heads up.

I am sure it happens but here is a picture of one I dug there. Not pretty but fun finding it..
