I saw a sidewalk/ steps tear out in front of a church in the hood. I hid my wallet and phone under the seat and grabbed the AT pro, my hard hat and orange vest to make me look official. The corner boys in the open air drug market across the street were eyeing me up as I gave it a quick sweep. My head was on a swivel and coins and Wheaties were popping but I couldn't find any old silver. Then I found half this shiny piece which I figured was stainless. Then the other half surfaced. When I got home I saw it is stamped Sterling. I think the one piece will make a great necklace!
I then headed to a 1950s permission and swept it from end to end. All clad, roofing nails and a tiny bit of junk. On the last strip along the back fence I got a huge shallow "can" signal. I started to walk away but figured it was so shallow it couldn't hurt to dig one more can. Out pops this lovely sterling and turquoise piece! As soon as my gf saw it she put it on and hasn't taken it off since. Glad to find her something she likes. Thanks for looking.
