Went on a ring find, got a little bonus!

I went on a wedding ring search this morning, White gold with 3 diamond chips - Found it
I noticed road construction in a little town on the way, so I stopped in for a couple hours:

1) 1942 Mercury Dime
2) 5 Wheaty's
3) Religious medallion
4) Dog Tag
5) 2 - keys

Can anyone guess what the silver tube thingy is?

BTW - Please see the little quality tag above the Merc - My Minelab E-Trac found that approx. 8 - 10 inches down.

Looks like an antique tire pressure gauge, I've found a few but mine were not in that nice of a shape. Nice haul there
