Have been under the weather lately with a mean cold , but the temperature got up above 40 today and couldnt resist hitting a local spot.
Found a couple of Indians, an 1893 and a 1862, (the '62 is my oldest IH yet).
A couple of buttons came out in pretty good shape , one reads PHILA. RAPID TRANSIT CO. , on the back it says AMERICAN BUTTON CO. NEWARK NJ.
The other button has a crown with a cross running through it, with rays of light...Latin words say IN NOC SIGNO VINCES.. The back ,WATERBURY BUTTON CO.
Also dug a thing that appears to be a heavy brass lock, but it doesnt have a key hole it says...MILLERS 6-LEVER.. ?
?
May send this one to the what is it forum.
After my decent hunt today I felt alot better
