It really is a mining store! Equipment galore, sluices, pans, books, mags, and knowlegeable, friendly mining folks! Its kinda a poor mans Pioneer Mining. But they specialize in custom metal fabrication, and can build you the best darn Rube Goldberg contraption you want!
I showed them my spare extra LeTrap pan and they laughed at it! It looks like it went thru WWII!
I had sold them some used mining and geology books before. They even rent boxes and pans for day/weekend trippers. And Josh Reinke is often there, and gives tours on prospecting and also has claims for sale.
I haven't been to Pioneer Mining in Auburn in years! I should go there. Oh, the Mining Museum is looking for doesent volunteers in Grass Valley, if anyone is interested.
