Went to one of my dump banks at lunch today....

Went to one of my dump banks at lunch today to deposit two bags of cents. As usual the teller went to the big door and opened it for me to carry them inside and set them down. She said just put them by the "other bags" I took a few extra seconds to set them down and set them right next to what I think was four bags of halves (one might have been quarters)

So I go back to the window to finish my deposit and start asking a few questions. Seems this guy is a regular and his name is Mark. That is all she would say. Could this be my buddy SoCA Mark? He was active on this forum for quite a while. He has not logged on in about a month.

Mark does Rose & Yorba Linda ring a bell? Give me a call.

You caught me red handed Dan! I have to talk to my tellers about giving away my secrets!!!! I have been dumping there for sometime now. The tellers are great and I never get hassled unlike their neighbor up the road. They wanted to charge me dumping. Needless to say I have found plenty of other dump banks and I get nothing but smiles. I don't post much anymore and the pickens are a wee bit slim but I still get what I'm looking for.

I knew it was you. Who else named Mark would dump bags of halves. Yes, that bank has been pretty friendly to me also. That bank is only two miles from my office. We should meet up some time.

Talking about their neighbor up the road, are you referring to a much smaller branch of the same bank? The one where I have been told to never bring another roll of halves in cause they don't have any room in their vault? (Bradford & Yorba Linda)

Ya, left coast here. I dropped my "finds" line and moved to the left coast after that southern California poster wanted to know where we all "bought and sold" (You know who I mean.) I don't mind helping a new bee but I am not going to give away my favorite banks.
