Went to the bank on Labor day--- 9/5/11 Penny box!

Hi all, I went to the bank today, Labor day. My local bank was open until 1 pm. My last box w2as dated 8/31 with a machine number on it, and it was very good box. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,421681.0.html

Went back today hoping to get more from that batch. asked the teller for a box dated 8/31 with the machine number on it, they got me one. went through that batch, amazing how a box from the same batch could be so different.

Here's the take: 12 wheats 1941-1957(6 below average), the other day I was 3 above.
6 canadian pennies(1980-2000) ...average, and a 1997 Barbados 1c.

Can't hurt to try. no US mint tokens this time.

nice assortment of dates. I'm currently working on a box of cents myself right now that I've had for over a week (I'm a slow searcher) and so far it's pretty good. I'll try and finish it tonight and post my finds later.

And it must be nice to be able to bank on holiday's. You can't accuse that bank of having bankers hours.
