You must of let him get in front of you cause Im sure if you were leading he wouldnt of found a thing. Both had a good day by the looks of things. The long piece is cool not sure what is though.

If the bit is curved a bit and not straight across, it's likely an adze. Maybe a pic of the bit would help.

Those are all awesome! Is this the first time your friend has hunted for artifacts? If so, that was some really great beginner's luck.

Great finds!

For your Morrow Mountain there is a couple more choices, Rocker based blade or Bascom Blade, in Early Georgia, volume 1, 2002 or Bell Blade in Best of Best flint river trading post 4 th edition

Those are very nice pieces. You better be in the lead next time & let your friend follow !

It was not his first time. He has hunted for years.

- = Celt. ( = adze

How many times a year do the plow down south in you area Americus? Farmers this year are planting grass and hay for their cattle in my area. Cotton just hasnt produced any money last couple of years.

It depends on what they are growing in the field. When they plant green beens in the spring they usually follow it with cucumbers in the fall. The same situation exists with watermelons, yellow squash, zucchini, cabbage, etc.

VERY NICE POINTS! GOOD LUCK IN YOUR NEXT HUNT!!

Next time I move Im going to a place where they still plow :)

I'd say he found some nice ones, and the Adze is cool!
