After about 6 weeks of CRH I'm ready to up my volume a little--slowly but surely--to the point where re-rolling will start to be a drag. I'm hoping someone in my neck of the woods (California) can clue me in to banks that take (and maybe give?) loose coins in bags:icon_scratch:. Thanks! :icon_thumleft:

I know Bank of America's here take loose coins, you just put them into a plastic bag, label it and they send off to be counted. I have never had any miscounted coins but it takes a few days to post back to your account, unless you have a teller that is nice enough to just counter credit it and modify your account later if it is a little different. Receiving coins from banks in bags vs boxes I believe is up to the preference of how the banks want it delivered to them. The Brinks locally here told me they box coin for some banks and bag for others.

Np at all. I have tried several BoA's here and they don't seem to mind at all about ordering halves or taking the bags back, the only thing they asked me to do to help them is make drop offs for coin in the morning so they don't have to look at them for a long time and eat up space. It is good to ask the banks you dump at how they would prefer coins, some like them rolled, others unrolled because they count them on site, which means you wasted time rerolling and they waste time having to break them back apart to recount, while others have coin machines for you to use (some with daily limits you can deposit though). May want to also invest in some sort of dolly/cart to move coins with, will save the tellers and yourself a lot of time and work, and surely will be appreciated on both sides of the fence.

Wells fargo but it takes 2-3 days to get your money!

^ better than being stuck with coin
