So I thought I'd try out another new beach yesterday and after getting in and scooping up a few pull tabs and beer caps, I started to get a little bit discouraged (doesn't take much huh?). Then after being in the water 15 minutes, BAM, Mans 14K class ring. That invigorated me I'll tell ya. I hunted a good 8 hours and didn't move 40-50 feet. Targets everywhere. I ended up with 7 pieces of gold, besides the class ring theres a beautiful 18K ladies sapphire ring with 8 diamonds, another ladies 14K ring with 8 Sapphires, a small 14K ring with 6 diamonds (supposed to be 7, one missing), a nice 14K ID bracelet, 14K cross, and a pretty 10K pendant that says LOVE with 4 diamonds and a "ruby". Other stuff include 1 sterling ring, a ton of junk hoop earrings, 1 stainless ring, 2 junk necklaces, many other junk fashion earrings & bangles, Oh yeah and a Tiara, now how many of you have ever found a tiara? Another knife, ands 177 coins total dug. I only quit because the sun was going down and I couldn't lift that scoop full of wet sand one more time if my life depended on it, well maybe.. Thanks for checking it out. HH

That is amazing!

I was on Siesta Key yesterday afternoon, and the waves were rolling in about 6 feet high, with 30 to 40 mph sustained straight on winds from the north, and a cold front dropping temps.

The few people on the beach were actually being blown down as they tried to walk against the wind. I lasted an hour, and only that long because I walked with the wind, and sought shelter between the buildings.

If you were anywhere on the gulf or west coast of florida yesterday (Sunday), and were in the water at all, or were on the beach for more than an hour or two, you must be superhuman!

Congrats on your finds.

You have no idea how tired my arms were. There was still signals everywhere, I just couldn't dig any longer. :tongue3:

With that level of quality targets, the sight may never have been hunted, PLOW IT! EXCELLENT JOB! Take some asprin, get some rest tonight and GET BACK OUT THERE MATE!

too bad you couldn't find one of those metal bottle of ALEVE half way through the day.

Incredible outing, congrat's.

First off that got my blood pumping...those are nice finds and in one day. I do feel for you that was one heck of a work out

Second I believe the beaches are most likely being hunted, but you hit it under the right conditions when everything was uncovered. Those conditions don't ususally last long and then its back to few and far between targets. Let us know how it is when you go out next. If again you find a haul then I would believe it hasn't been hunted. How deep were your targets by the way?

Very Nice. Waht Beach???? Just kidding you. Your honey hole as they say..

Congrat's Return the Class ring. Jolston's is the Major Class Ring Manifacture. They would have a record of who's it would be.

I' have returned 2 in my life already.. Nice feeling

Alot of the coins were really deep, 12-18" but jewelry was 8" or less.
