Thanks to everyone for the responses to my question regarding the correct machine to purchase. I received a lot of great feedback which will make my decision a lot easier to make. This is a great site as it is a great wealth of information coming from the experts in the field. I will eventually get up to speed but these forums are priceless.

I also want to purchase a beach machine for those long vacation walks along the waterfront. Any suggestions as to a good casual beach walking machine?
