What a way to start 2008 with a WLH

Went out with Watercolor and Skinny Puppy today. Only the 3rd hunt for the year. First 2 were way back on Jan. 6th and 8th. LOOOOOOOONG TIME in the cabin.............
My sciatic nerve was bothering me real bad today so it wasn't too much fun to detect.
Took another pain killer and then decided to head home.
Toward home I wanted to detect and find something...
So i said I would give it another try at an old house that I have permission to do.
5 minutes into it I pulled a dime up...YAHOO!!!!!!
5 minutes later I got a 50cent signal at 1 1/2 inches and low and behold a 50 cent WL came to light..
After putting it into some water it turned out to be a 1943.....

YAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! SILLLLLLLVA!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if I only would find that SEATED COIN.............

silver. . . and BIG silver to boot. . . on the way home from a hunt,
with an injured back

Well done!

The only silver Patrick and I found the whole day was a
Sterling & Amethyst earring. . . I was on my way to the car,
dragging my detector (in shame) and eye-balled it on
the ground just as the detector sounded off
