I got these coins in a lot (stated in a different thread) and I don't know too much about them. The Arabic coin reads 1293 in their numerals. The other coin appears to be a Chinese cash coin. Can you guys tell me a little about them?

Can't tell you much about them. They look pretty cool though. Once you figure it out I will be happy to buy them off you for face value. :)

NOT AGAIN THESE DARN CHINESE TRICK COINS ARE SHOWING UP EVERYWHERE DID THE ROUND PEG COME WITH IT SO YOU PRACTICE TRYING TO PUT IN THE SQUARE HOLE. I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THESE EITHER BUT I HAVE SEEN SO MANY ON TNET THAT YOU HAVE A NET FIND....ITS A COIN NOT A TRICK COIN JUST PLAYING.

You had me worried there for a minute, sutphin. Thank you, Don, for your replies. I see why that Turkish coin looks bronze. It's fineness is .1000!

The top left coin has the tell-tale Ottoman image of a TUGHRA.

I read about it and that is interesting... They are also shown on some Egyptian coins that I have seen.
