Hi Everyone,

I was detecting along my property line yesterday and next to the neighbor's driveway. In one area of the driveway, I kept getting a strong signal on my AT Pro. It registered at 99. However, after investigating, the metal was inside the driveway concrete.

My question is this, what metal would have been put into the driveway that would register like this?

Rebar
Reinforcing iron bars to help strengthen the concrete.

Or reinforcing wire mesh OR a really valuable old silver coin. LOL

I dont think it was rebar due to the reading level. Probably iron mesh. Whatever it is will just have to stay put. Try explaining to the neighbors why it was a good idea to break through their driveway. LOL.

Rebar gives off a super high tone on the at pro just like a big piece of flat iron I encounter it all the time

This area, along driveway edges, is where the sniper coil shines - it does not pick up the re-bar or mesh in the concrete, unless you swing over the concrete of course. I've found a few rings and a lot of clad on this edge.
