For me it's large coppers. I have not found any silvers this year, but found some colonial coppers including (1655-1658 French Liard, 1723 Wood's Hibernia Half-Penny, 1730's young head King George II Halfpenny, and a Toasted colonial Halfpenny) I also found some large cents including the beautiful 1803 large cent in beautiful condition, the other large cents I found are not in nearly as good condition:

I'm WAY ahead on silver coins. I have yet to find a large cent (and badly want to).

Not many old coins this year here, did Ok on rings tho ! Got a confirmation today that my ring with Hobo on it is a telegraph line workers ring from a 95 year old guy he said that the last time he saw one of those rings was like 65 plus years ago. My oldest large cent is an 1817. It is hard to find any larges here tho. Must be nice having all that history on tap there !

I'm North of you and what we find can be quite a bit different, but what is the same is larger coppers are not a problem, but silver coins are.... and not one for me either so far this year. :dontknow:
