What do you do with the halves after you look thru them?

I have just started roll hunting halves. What do you do with them. I see some of you are going thru 2 and three boxes a week. Where do you take them when done?

To my other bank- the one with the savings acct and coin machine..... also, I pay bills with them in my travels around town.

Now that the main branch of my bank has a free sorter, I take them there. What a noise when that thing is sorting halves! Sometimes I leave them as tips, or at 7-11.

I mostly use them. It is slower, but many are kept by the people who work at the places I spend them at, so they basically take them out of circulation and I do not have to worry about searching thru those particular coins again. When I spend that $1000, I go get another two boxes and repeat the process. As I said, it is slower but works for me. If I go on a long trip I will take a bunch with me and deposit them in the branches of the banks I have accounts at, and again that gets them out of the area.
