What do you guys do with your junk finds?

I toss mine. Unless they are cool looking.

I put them back in the hole. :dontknow:

Toss them in the garbage when I get home.

I have a huge bucket with them. My friends can sometimes be bad though and throw their pull tabs in the woods, I always try to pick them up though.

Don't look in the back of my truck bed...but most of the time they hit the trash bucket I have in there.
Leaving trash or ferrous finds is unfriendly to yourself, the environment and fellow hobbyist who may dig your trash later.
Always leave your work space CLEANER than when you left it...including picking up those non-metallic items too 8-)

I have been dumping my trash bag when I get home. I know some folks who separate brass and lead and keep it. I don't reload so I just toss the trash.

I put them up on Ebay. You'd be amazed what people will buy.

......I recycle much.....local school kids occasionally collect pull tabs for contests...one kid gets my ancient tabs for the comments he receives. I drive my Brother nuts hiding iron all around his ranch....."where'd THAT come from ?"....

I've been tossing them. The last thing I need is more junk lying around.

I am building a city... complete with bar. :P

Just looked, somehow this listing does exist. For 8 dollars you can buy 777 vintage pull tabs. Beach and park hunters take note.:laughing7:

Keep most of it, even pull tabs. I have 30 gallon plastic drum in my basement. take it down, clean it and separate it, when it gets full I take it away. In 17 year of being here in Europe I have taken copper away twice, aluminium 5 times and lead 16 times.

Scrap steel I have a drum for that, but when it gets full I give that to a man who drives around picking up scrap metal. 7 bucks is hardly worth the trip when that thing gets full.

I am the wrong person to ask this question. I fill up buckets to overflowing with my trash and there are about four in my driveway right now. If I spot a five gallon bucket in the ditch I stop and pick it up. I fill it with my trash and drop it in my driveway when it get's filled up. I am quite the slob I know.

Terry is spot on. I sell all but the complete garbage. Brass tags ? 1-2 $ each, people make jewelery with them, old spigot handles ? 1-3 each, people make drawer pulls with them. I tumble the stuff, put it in sectioned table top cases and folks crowd around rummaging through. Price wise this kind of stuff is the equivelent of a worn silver dime.....which I am always happy to find.

My wife says I bring them ALL HOME. She's right I don't want to dig them again
