What to do with long ago awards..?

That makes me feel better about my dismal showing when we played. :icon_thumright: (Though I'd definitely still give it another go. Just need more practice...)
That's exactly the attitude needed Robert and mine also...!

Anytime sir... You and wife are always welcome here again. I can't play anywhere near the level I used too without some practice again myself. But I still have fun trying...!

Contact teachers of special needs students and they might be interested in them. (Even the archery ones)
I only wish I had that problem! A mean angry exwife disposed of all my treasures long ago???

If you still do business with an archery shop (brick and mortar, not online) I'd bet they'd like to display some of your vintage archery trophies. That, or an archery club might polish them up, replace the plaque and pass it on to a deserving young archer.

I had a pile of assorted trophies, and decided to just keep the award labels and toss the big part. The labels are easy to store away, and fun to take out and look at once in a while.
DD... I haven't been in a archery shop or shot since 94'. My last pro tournament was the Las Vegas Open in 93'. That was one of the larger tournaments in the world. I walked away "cold turkey" and never shot again competitive when I moved from MI. to TN.

My angry ex wife destroyed a photo album I had FULL of pics of the V8 Chevy Vega I built from scratch...! Nothing "Vega" about it except the body style. 406 SB, narrowed 9" Ford, 2X4 tube steel chassis and a push button fiberglass tilt one piece front end. The car was lowered and tubbed out with MT M50's on the rear. Now all I have are the memories...! Now I'm all geeked up again...!
