What do you guys think of Lime Away as a copper/nickel cleaner?

I have used it on some of my crustiest nickels and copper cents. It seems to work ok to a point at lifting off surface crud. The problem is that it keeps "working" even after it has been thoroughly washed off, amplifying pitting. Comments?

Anything that keeps eating away is no good and I have tried Lime Away in the past and won't do so again, most things that contain harsh chemicals are no good, the penny changed color eventually and became extremely pitted. I just replied above about using cheap dollar store hot sauce, works great. My biggest issue is removing residue after a cleaning, I use an eraser which is great but not if you value the coins, then of course you shouldn't clean them AT ALL. Even try the vinegar and salt, that works fairly well. I have also used a plastic pic to scrape out crud between letters and such. Just my :D 2 cents :D
