What do you think of the ACE 250?

Im just a beginner and someone wants to barter one to me, they said they have two and its hardly used... tips, suggestions, videos on it? I seen some on youtube etc.. just wondering what you rate this machine...

My sister and her boy friend bought 2 Ace 250's and I have an F2 fisher. We went to three parks over the labor day week-end and The F2 Fisher Beat both of them in the totals. $7.53 in clad and 1 wheatie and 1 rosy, and 1 ring.
They found $4.21 in clad and that is it.

I had 67 hit's for coins and they had about 60 between the 2 machines.

It's not a bad unit but the f2 has been a mjor coin hog.

It is not a bad machine. I would suggest that you read the Brands forum and you will find interesting tips and overall comments. I find it easy and fun to use. As far as the amount of coins, jewelry you will find, well, you just have to be in the right place. That would go for any machine; if there is noting there, there is no reading, plain and simple. Just take the time to learn the machine too, and have fun. I don't see any hoards of Saxon gold buried in the USA
