What does dowsing work with?

Hi people yet another question about dowsing:

Does it work with anything when it comes to locating something? Or is it only when lookin for natural substances or earthly biological things such as water or electrical current? If there was a buried watch in a field could the method find it?

Hey Milkdrops...You ask some tough questions..The buried watch would be hard for me unless it had a lot of gold or silver in it and was in an area without a lot of gold and silver around. The common metals of a watch would be hard for me to discriminate from other junk buried there. I know a few mental dowsers that would have a better chance of finding it than I would. ..Art

Just mentally picture a watches casing and innards including a variety of metals and if conditions are ok and you mentally probe in the correct quarter , you will possibly find it depending on the distance to the target from where you are standing.
