So i have a bar i found, with markings on it... it was determined it is a silver-iron alloy (not sure of purity, probably not alot but i dont know) and i cant make out the letters exactly but ill put combinations below
line 1:

20 0s

20.00

20 0o

10.00

10 0

10 0o

line 2:

25 UD

25 USD

25 ID

25 D

25 SD

do any of these numbers mean anything? i know usd, is us dollar... but idk if that would be on it..

almost looks like a 1 in front of the 25 to

You'd have better luck if you post a picture.

Impossible to tell without a picture...

Possibly a brazing rod. Silver-iron is pretty uncommon as an alloy. It's also used in circuit breakers and relays - but that would not be a "bar".

All the above^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Some of us might recognize it by seeing it. Or not!

ill try taking pics, its pretty small writing... doubt it will show up

If you have a bar of a silver, iron alloy made for electrical applications the amount of silver present in it is relatively small. Most likely 0.5 to .1 percent.

yeah, pics show nothing
