This same pattern has been used by re-enactors for quite some time. Even though it may look old, it is probably a more modern reproduction in my opinion. Of course a closer look may prove otherwise.
Was this flask a dug item? If so, the location of the find could have a great bearing on its true origin. Yes, they still make them, but the one in the photo has a lot of patina to it. Most modern ones are clear coated to stay bright.
My guess is if it was a dug item it could be an oldie but if not it might just be a reproduction. It does seem to look like an oldie though after taking a closer look at the pictures.
