Hard to tell from the photos.
but
looks to be XF + IMO
P.s. It makes me Quiver seeing it sitting on the pavement like that. LOL

looks ag with environmental damage due to scraping on gravel. But as Davers pointed out, its hard to tell from photos.

Agreed, XF on wear but damage due to scratches and cleaning.

Moved to coins, only finds made "today" go into "Todays Finds", hence the name Today's Finds..

At the most you will get a "Details" grade if they give it that. It appears to be heavily cleaned.

My 5 cents worth (HH)..VF-XF, Details, Improperly Cleaned, Scratched

F+ detail but environmental damage. Maybe improper cleaning from rubbing but who knows. She's such a sexy coin that I'd love that find any day of the year.

After many posts warning against it I stopped rubbings coins until home. I think I damaged a 1600's coin from "field rubbing". Either way congrats on a n amazing seated!

A beautiful coin (without it in my hand) Fine (+) possibly extra fine details, improperly cleaned and scratched; like “ajaj” said. There would be no harm in sending in for grading.

Most Third Party Gading Services would only certify the coins as Genuine and give it a Details Grade with notes (Attributions) such as "Damaged" and/or "Improperly Cleaned" or other notes. Sometimes this type of Grade and notes (Attributions) can do more harm than good for the value of a coin. If all you looking for such as in the case of a really Rare coin, then these are always wanted and acceptable but for non-rare and lesser valued coins, they are very dentimental.
