Actually, it should be "what I did for the six months after my summer vacation." I've been AWOL from the boards since my trip to Ocean City, but I've been able to get a hunt in here and there. I had a couple hunts with Scrappy, which was awesome. I also explored some potential new sites, which was incredibly fun. A couple of them have been producing quite well!

Here's the summary of my finds:
An old ring from the 1939 New York Worlds Fair, another strange ring with a Gryphon on it. Not sure about that one.

A nice old button with Scovills Treble Gilt written on the back.

A scrap of a crotal bell, a shield horse adornment, another old button, and what looks to be an old metal arrowhead. Totally not sure about that last one. Would love input. Could just be garbage.

Found an old watchpiece or pillbox. Not sure. I opened it and there were no watch guts inside.... hmmm....

Found a cool old "Credit card" from Abraham and Strauss. Apparently this was the precursor to the charge card. Pretty cool.

Found an old watch fob, a WWII button, and an unidentified button (which feels cheap).

Found a cool old lead figure. If anyone can help with dating this sucker, I'd appreciate it! The property dates to the 1700's.

Found a tiny birth ring. 925. Not sure of the stone, and whether it's real or not.

The next ring is pretty cool. It's silver (although no marks on it), and it's a knot ring. Very delicate, but very nice.

I found this ring on a hunt with Scrappy. 925 with an AVON marking. Rose colored stones. Haven't had them checked out, but if it's an Avon product, I can guess.

What a cool find. A silver cufflink? Asian markings on it. The chain was actually broken, but I put it back together. :)

For the next one, are these bullets? The one on the right is huge. The one on the left is quite heavy and looks like it's lead on the inside. No idea what they are.

Calvin Coolidge presidential token and Canadian clad coin.

One little, two little, three little Indians (buffalo nickels)

Here's a toasted Indian head. Amazed that I found this here, since the area was built up in 1920. IF I squint, I can make out 1897 as a date. Curious if others agree.

Two more Canadian clad coins. 1928 penny and 1967 commemorative penny.

Two barber dimes. Second one is 1894. Sadly, no S mint mark. :(

4 Mercs, 7 Rosies, and a whopper Franklin half.

Another work Indian head. This one is 1865.

The next one almost blew my ears off. It's an 1857 Bank token for one penny (bank of Canada). It's 32mm in diameter. Just a monster coin.

Right next to it was a mystery coin! This one has no markings that I can see, but maybe someone else can make something out. The mystery coin is 29mm in diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Finally, over the last couple days, I found two large cents. 1844 and 1843.

All in all, a good 6 months worth of finds. Can't wait to see what's in store for 2016!
