Aluminum? Where was it found?
I think it could be something that belongs to some kind of audio equipment. Speaker/microphone (some kind of telephone or radio?)

My thought was some part of an old 1950's yard sprinkler, but I couldn't find any matches.

It might be aluminum, it’s very light weight but it’s hard to bend , maybe tin?

I looked that up, mmmm it’s kind of wide for that but who knows
It's also closed at the end, kazoos are metal tubes. I mean maybe they made kazoos differently back in the day. I'm gonna say my actual official guess is a piece of a sprinkler head.

You know it's weird when a Google lens search only turns up one possible match and that match is the very same photo you posted that the search engine crawled on TNet!

Maybe it’s part of a one man band instrument

This is the other whatzit I found, I straightened it out or say I brought it back somewhat. I’m sure it’s junk , it’s very light weight, maybe water related?
I think water related because of the holes... part of a sprinkler, watering can?

After looking at some vintage kazoos, wood, plastic, all kinds of metals, I retract my suggestion.
