Found this while scouting a new site. The site itself appears to be an old farm, very old wooden house with a wooden barn some distance away and two other smaller wooden buildings nearby. As you can see, it's half eaten away with rust. My first thought was some sort of tractor, but the back end doesn't look like any sort of tractor I've ever seen. At the bottom of the first picture, you'll also notice teeth of some sort built into the bed.

That's what it is. If you ever get back to it, look on some of the larger parts to see if there's any letters cast into them. I'll look in some of my book for an ID. Tony

A quick look in the book!! The combine is a combination harvester/thresher. What I see here is a harvester or small combine. If it has a thresher it is in the covered end we can't see. The head is missing. It could have different heads depending on the crop it was working. This style started in the 1940"s. Judging by the shape of the covered end I would guess Allis, or Case. Definitely an old combine they were very common in Nebraska, I have seen them running around as a kid but they are starting to crumble into the ground. Great find :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
